Preparing a draft

Choosing a file and filling in this form does not upload anything. Draft information stays in the open page’s memory. Closing or refreshing the page clears it. You can download a text copy for yourself.

Sending an entry

When submissions open, the form will send your name, chosen credit, email, photograph, title, date, general location, category, story, editing disclosure, and confirmations to the organizers’ configured submission service. A success receipt appears only after the service confirms receipt.

A JPEG display copy is prepared without the original file’s embedded metadata. Keep your original file separately. Avoid exact addresses and private information in the photograph or description.

Use and display

Organizers use entries to review eligibility, judge photographs, contact entrants, and announce winners under the stated license. Contact emails will not be publicly displayed or supplied to sponsors. No mailing-list subscription is included with entry.

Before the contest opens

The organizers must publish their identity, contact, submission-service provider, retention period, and removal process here before collecting official entries. The proposed policy is to delete nonselected records within 90 days of the results, unless needed for an active dispute. Selected display copies may remain for the 24-month license period.
